How we built this timeline

Coordinated/internal disclosure: fixes and a workaround were published 9 Dec 2025; Arctic Wolf saw exploitation from 12 Dec 2025, so exploited before a fix is false.

CVE-2025-59719 is the FortiWeb CVE in the same advisory (not itself in KEV as of the cache). The advisory page was later redesigned: earlier captures label the CVSS temporal score (9.1) as 'CVSSv3 Score', while the current template shows the base score 9.8 and the temporal score 9.1 separately, with the same vector, so the score itself did not change.

The 'Known Exploited' field arrived with that site-wide template change (independent edits audit, 23 Oct 2026). In January 2026 attackers also compromised fully patched devices through FortiCloud SSO; that is tracked separately as CVE-2026-24858 (fortinet-cve-2026-24858).

R1 check (23 Oct 2026): the January 2026 attacks on devices patched for this CVE used a different flaw that Fortinet assigned CVE-2026-24858 (a FortiCloud SSO alternate-path bypass, 'a new attack path'); Fortinet does not describe the December 2025 fixes as incomplete for CVE-2025-59718, so they remain First fix/Fixed for all versions here.

Cross-reference: fortinet-cve-2026-24858.
