How we built this timeline
Patched in the July 2024 CPU (16 Jul 2024), almost two years before CISA added it to KEV (1 Jun 2026). SecurityWeek (June 2026) reports public proof-of-concept exploits existed and that CISA appeared to be the first to warn of in-the-wild exploitation; no earlier exploitation report was found.
CVSS 7.5 from Oracle's risk matrix. Wayback snapshot cited because oracle.com blocks non-browser user agents; the date quote spans the date and note cells of the Modification History table.
