No brief for this incident yet. We write one for every open incident and every critical bug exploited before a fix.

Affected products

  • N-able N-central (on-premises) before 2025.3.1 / 2024.6 HF2
How we built this timeline

Grouped: both CVEs fixed in the same releases and listed in KEV together. Primary CVE is CVE-2025-8875 (listed first by N-able; both have N-able's CNA CVSS 4.0 score 9.4;

NVD v3.1 scores 7.8 and 8.8). exploited before a fix stays null under R4 (sources conflict, and the fix and KEV listing fall on the same day with no times available): CISA listed both as exploited on the release day and N-able later confirmed exploitation against a limited number of customers (per Help Net Security and SecurityWeek), but no source says whether exploitation started before the fix; the bugs need authentication. N-able said it saw no exploitation in its hosted cloud environments.
