How we built this timeline

Coordinated/internal disclosure ('CVE 2026-3055 was identified internally'). Bulletin CTX696300 also fixes CVE-2026-4368 (race condition causing user session mix-up, CVSS 7.7, not in KEV).

Exploitation after the fix: CrowdSec reports early exploitation traces from 27 Mar 2026; KEV 30 Mar 2026.

Only appliances configured as a SAML IdP are affected by CVE-2026-3055; researchers nicknamed it 'CitrixBleed 3' because leaked memory can include session tokens. Note the CVE records were published 23 Mar 2026 around 20:09-20:21Z, i.e. the afternoon US Pacific time of the bulletin date.
