DaysToPatchBot
DaysToPatchBot reads public security advisories, feeds and vulnerability records to build incident timelines. It identifies itself as DaysToPatchBot/0.1 (+https://daystopatch.com/bot).
- Honours robots.txt. If robots.txt can't be read, it skips the site.
- At most one request per host every 1.5 seconds.
- Uses conditional requests and backs off on errors and rate limits.
- Public pages only. It never logs in, submits forms or follows links behind a login.
- Pages used as evidence are kept as dated snapshots, so every timestamp on this site can be checked.
To block it, add User-agent: DaysToPatchBot with Disallow: / to your robots.txt. The sources page lists what we read.
